USS Bataan get ready for the Tibbitts Family.

"The Big 5."

Well, Brent got orders to the USS Bataan in Norfolk, VA.
We left to head up to Norfolk on August 19, 2010.
Brent is pretty happy with the ship.
I love his ship.
He has GREAT leaders on his ship.
A wonderful XO and CMC.
His ship also has a great FRG group, which is great for me!
We are looking forward to what the next 3 years will bring us upon the USS Bataan.

Brent makes it to "A" School!

In late April Brent finally makes it to his "A" School is Sunny Pensacola, Fl.
Which lucky for us ment he was only 5 hours away!

We went to see Brent for the first time since March, sometime in may! I was so excited to see him! Saylor was still very little so she had no clue why she was put in her car seat for 5 hours!!

When we arrived in Pensacola I met up with Brent's aunt (whom I was staying with) and I followed her to her home where I waited for Brent for about 1 to 1 1/2 hours!
I had 10 million emotions flowing through my head. I was excited, nervous, scared, happy and so on. When his aunt said "He's here!" my stomach dropped. Saylor and myself hid around the corner and when he turned the corner I couldnt do anything but cry and hug him!

The first thing he did was grab our baby girl. He loved and kissed on her then it was my turn.
We were so happy to see him!
We had a great weekend with him in Pensacola :)
Here are a few pictures from our weekend!

I may wear the glass slipper but my prince wears combat boots!

First I would like to start off by saying "Thank you" to all the
men and women that serve in the armed forces.
Without you I would not be who I am today!

On March 8,2010 my hero left for basic training.
I never knew how proud of him I could be untill that moment.
I have also never felt so safe in my entire life.

My hero had to leave his family behind to do what was best for us.
It was very hard on him because our little girl had only been home for 2 weeks.
During his stay at Great Lakes Training Center I sent him letters and pictures to make his days go buy faster. He had to miss his little girls very first Easter so I made sure to send many pictures of her in her Easter dress.  He made it out of there just fine!

Today he is a VERY proud member of the USN!

We are very proud of you ITSA Tibbitts.

We love you!
